7 Instagram Yoga Accounts You Should Follow

Pretty much everyone on Instagram who’s into yoga knows The Southern Yogi or Nude Yoga Girl. But there are so many others that deserve far more followers than they have. So here’s my shoutout to celebrate seven great yoga accounts I also keep an eye on.

  1. Silke Dewulf: @the_plantbased_yogateacher
I discovered Silke through her youtube channel (link). When she finished her Yoga Teaching Training, I then found out about her Instagram page and we started following each other. I got the chance to meet her at VegFest in London last October, and I can only say nice things about this beautiful human. She’s gentle, kind and so compassionate. Her Instagram account has good educational content, and her feed
is one of the prettiest out there.Captura de pantalla 2017-12-07 a las 14.12.37
  2. Kasia: @cat_k
I came across Kasia because she did her Erasmus year in Granada (where I study my degree) – she had beautiful photos of the city. Her yoga practice is just amazing, and the quality of her photos blows my mind. I can’t believe she has under 1k followers! Check her out.Captura de pantalla 2017-12-07 a las 14.25.18
  3. Sarah: @Yoga__Sarah (with double underscore)
So, Sarah is a yoga teacher in Walthamstow (where my London house is). I discovered her when I was looking for yoga classes for when I move back to London. Along with her stunning yoga photos, she has many posts of motivational and inspirational quotes. It’s such a pleasure to scroll down on Instagram and find one of her posts.Captura de pantalla 2017-12-08 a las 12.47.49
  1. Maria Lamarilla: @yoga.lamarilla
This woman is pure happiness! Her smile is so warming and her Instagram feed so positive. Also, she has a very cute dog so I just had to include her on the list. If ever you’re having a bad day, I definitely recommend checking Maria’s page and reading her captions. She makes your day waaaaaaay better!Captura de pantalla 2017-12-08 a las 12.48.23
  2. Brenda Valtson: @brenda_yoga
OMG! Brenda is just great. Great poses. Great photos. I’m a bit jealous of her back-bending skills if I’m honest… She’s a huge  inspiration for yogis and I’m obsessed with her feed. I can’t understand why she doesn’t have hundreds and hundreds of thousand of followers. She’s a self-taught yogi, just like me, and I really hope we get to meet some time!Captura de pantalla 2017-12-08 a las 12.50.00
  3. Cam : @littlegirlbigbun
Technically Cam’s page isn’t a yoga page but she posts some yoga content and I love her account, and that’s why I’d thought I’d share it. She’s a pilates and barre instructor, and because I did ballet as a kid I cannot resist her posts! She’s also an endless source of inspiration and motivation to work out. Plus she has some exercises you can do at home that will definitely make you sweat!Captura de pantalla 2017-12-08 a las 12.49.09
  4. Briana: @okieyogi
Briana contacted me when I said I was writing this blog post. And wow! I’m glad she did. I’m so impressed by her ability to be upside down (one of my fears). She has such well-composed photos of yoga and acro-yoga, a practice I would really like to learn and develop.Captura de pantalla 2017-12-08 a las 12.49.37

Definitely let me know if you think there are other yoga Instagram accounts I should follow. (You can reach me on Instagram!)
